By downloading, accessing, or using ColorPing, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What ColorPing is — and is not

ColorPing is an automated notification aid. It checks official color-line recordings and may alert you when your assigned color appears to have been announced.

The official color line and your program’s instructions are the authoritative source. You remain responsible for complying with all reporting requirements. ColorPing can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. It is not a legal determination, not legal advice, and not a substitute for calling or otherwise verifying the official line.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your region) and able to form a binding contract. You must provide accurate contact information you control for sign-in.

Accounts and sign-in

ColorPing uses one-time codes sent to your phone or email. You are responsible for keeping access to that phone or email secure and for activity on your account. Do not share one-time codes with others.

Price

ColorPing is currently free. Core features — including automated daily checks, matching against your assigned color, in-app and push alerts, and history — do not require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. If we introduce paid features later, we will update these terms and the store listings before charging.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt our systems
• Use ColorPing to harass, defraud, or harm others
• Reverse engineer or scrape the service except where allowed by law
• Post unlawful, abusive, or infringing content in Feedback & ideas or other community features

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms or created risk for other users or the service.

Optional integrations

Features such as Ride Angels linking are optional and subject to those products’ own terms. We are not responsible for third-party apps or services you choose to connect.

Disclaimer of warranties

ColorPing is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that checks or notifications will be timely, complete, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hyperion App Studio and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss related to missed, late, or incorrect color-line information, failed notifications, or reliance on ColorPing instead of the official line. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to USD $50, except where law does not allow that limit.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hyperion App Studio from claims arising out of your misuse of the app or violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms, except where law requires additional consent.
