Terms — Ride Angels

Ride Angels is operated by Hyperion App Studio (sole proprietor: Devin Cooper). By creating an account or using the Ride Angels apps (org.rideangels.app), you agree to these terms.

What Ride Angels is

Ride Angels helps people coordinate rides to appointments with a private trusted circle (family, friends, neighbors). Riders request rides; Ride Angels offer to drive. It is a coordination tool — not a taxi, rideshare marketplace, transportation carrier, or emergency service.

You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to driving, passenger safety, insurance, and licensing. Hyperion App Studio does not provide vehicles, drivers, or ride insurance.

Accounts and sign-in

You must provide a phone number and/or email address you control.
Sign-in uses one-time passcodes (OTP). There is no password.
By entering your phone number and continuing, you consent to receive transactional SMS one-time passcodes from Ride Angels / Hyperion App Studio for authentication. Standard message and data rates may apply. SMS is for authentication only — not marketing. Reply STOP to cancel SMS; reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Keep your device secure. Do not share OTP codes.
One account may use both Rider and Ride Angel modes.

Trusted circle and content

You invite people you know. Do not invite strangers for commercial dispatch.
You are responsible for the accuracy of appointments, notes, and contact details you enter.
Call and Text open your device’s phone or Messages apps; carrier rates may apply.
“On my way” and reminders are convenience features — not a guarantee of arrival time.
Public or community ride boards are not part of the current product experience.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service (spam invites, harassment, impersonation, illegal activity, or attempts to disrupt the service). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Account deletion

Delete your account in the app under Profile → Account & Security → Delete account, or contact [email protected]. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. HYPERION APP STUDIO IS NOT LIABLE FOR RIDES ARRANGED BETWEEN USERS, MISSED APPOINTMENTS, DRIVER OR PASSENGER CONDUCT, OR OUTAGES OF THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS (INCLUDING CARRIERS, APPLE, GOOGLE, OR HOSTING VENDORS).

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HYPERION APP STUDIO’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF RIDE ANGELS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRIOR TWELVE MONTHS (CURRENTLY $0 FOR A FREE DOWNLOAD) OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
